Karen Walker's sixties inspired nautical collection was the perfect balance of kitsch and wearability. The patterns were the highlight of the collection, from the streamlined sailor stripes to seagulls to sunburst patterns. The ruffled waves mimicking the ocean accent each of the mini dresses paired with authentic looking boat shoes. Ladies, we better start our sailing lessons stat for a head start on S/S 2010.

ReplyDeleteLOVE!
ReplyDeleteI love the nautical style. I'm actually surprised that it wasn't that big this summer. I love stripes, and am loving that 4th dress.
ReplyDeleteNautical never goes out of style if you ask me. I am a big fan of stripes and cute little boat shoes!
ReplyDeleteReally this is too cute - I'm completely obsessed with the first two looks, the hats are so retro British invasion! :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, not sure if you remember, but not too long ago you recommended the book "Valley of the Dolls" to me. I started reading it last night and couldn't put it down. Thanks for a fabulous recommendation - I can already tell that I will be reading all of Jacqueline Susann's books! :)
